Who Stole My Crayons?

hope everyone had a good xmas/yule/winter type holiday and safe/festive new year.  i rung in the new year playing lego bat man on my xbox :-)  some of the game angles are a bitch but i am enjoying the game (and its 2 player!)

a few of my awesome xmas gifts this year: hello kitty barbie, farscape series dvd set, donations to the ferret shelter where i volunteer, hello kitty ornaments, hand scrubby stuff, new porsche book, wizard nut cracker, misc fun hello kitty stuffs and some gift cards.    the weasels got a nice haul of new toys, snacks and blankies this year too.  (but they aren’t spoiled)

starting the new year with $0 balances on both cc’s, $ in all three savings account, a new budget made up, direct withdraw set up, new calendar program up and running, signed up for classes at teh y and some goals in mind.  the goals include (but need to be  refined): loss at least 30 pounds with 20 gone by bathing suit season, add at least $6k to one saving account, build up reserve in immediate need savings account (aka the ferret adn disaster fund), blog more on both sites, work out 15+ times per month, get a good chore schedule up and in place.  not all of these will happen at once or nothing will get accomplished.

also this year going to hit a few ferret shows because i haven’t been in years, learn to shoot my new handgun,  maybe take a vacation even its just weekend trip or two, learn to sew so i can make my own ferret mats and sleepy sacks, and lastly get some meditation in because everyone can use a little inner peace. 

work is annoying and sucky (whats new) need to work on a new plan regarding that foolishness.

i started volunteering in October (at a ferret shelter of course) and have found it extremely rewarding.  if you don’t volunteer now i would highly recommend it.  if you go to volunteer match you can search for all sort of charities that need help and there is a great need for help especially now.  and what better gift then your time. 

well time to get ready because we are going to take a new PC (aka my old pc) because the mother board is going up on his dinosaur.

its been a really shitty year so far.  i’m so busy and stressed at work most days i don’t what the hell is going on.  but at least i still have a job.   its been really cold, snowing and dismal too which hasn’t really help my mood at all.   and the gas & electric bill is enough to give anyone heartburn.

but, something strange happened…. i’m in a good mood

i had the first chipmunk sighting of the year so spring must be on its way.  also the bulbs in teh triangle of dirt are starting to come up!!!  Amazingly after being 8 degress earlier this week, today they are calling for 70’s. woohoo, plan on opening up the house today and washing some stinky furkids.

i checked my bank account and miraculously there is actually some money left in there.  scary.  not sure how that happened, everything got paid so woohoo for me!

getting a new used 50 inch tv later today. after rearraning a bunch of furniture i’ll be playing my new favorite game, house of the dead overkill!

while checking some sites yesterday, i saw that (GASP) NIN is coming to merriweather in JUNE!!! OMG yoda and i are so going to that regardless of ticket price.  that might even be more fun then seeing combichrist at teh recher in February.

atlantic city update…… the blonds brother thought he’d be a smart ass and send me a bogus ‘you missed the bus’ text message from the blonds phone……. to reward him for irritating me early in the morning he has been given the nickname of ass troll…. which i call him everytime i talk to him or the blond (or his mother)

on a plus note….. i came back with more then i left with even though i’m cheap and only play the nickel and penny slots! go me!!!!  new favorite machines at the tropicana- milk money, enchanted unicorn and some camping themed one…. (fav machine of all time in hex breaker at the tah cause it always cool to win $200 on a penny machine)

the crew went to lunch at hooters which is always entertaining….. of course ass trolls mom found out and told half the bus and my dad…. when he called me monday he asked me how lunch at hooter was… i said we ate, had two pitchers of beer and watched hooters… he said.. cool

unfortunately had to go back to work on monday…. bummer…  this week SUCKS!!!!!  but at least its a pay week

woohoo!!! going to see marilyn manson tonight.  got up and to work early so i could roll early from work and get ready for the show!!!
i’m two shots up on my evening and dressed.  combat boots, short plaid skirt, black tank top,  collar and red red lipstick….

i went to see my dad on saturday which turned out to be very productive.

dad washed my car, touched up the hood, waxed the car, cleaned the wipers, rain-x-ed all the windows, cleaned the wheels, used some special plastic ‘wax’ on the lights and mirror housings, and put the shiny stuff on my tires. then he ordered us pizza for dinner.  he even had a stack of the coupons from the sunday paper for me.

what did i do you ask?  well i brought the beer- natty in bottles of course, made the run into the house for beers AND moved the hose as dad was walking/washing around the car. which is a very important job.

i also brought the paper from the dealer so dad could check what they did and popped the hood so he could check out my warranty replaced battery (74 months bitches) and shared my irritation with having to take my car to the dealer to begin with.

all in all a very productive day.    go dad!

happy friday the 13th!!!!! hope everyone had a great one. i think friday the 13th should be a holiday and we should all get a paid day off so we can stay home and drink ourselves silly!!

i did hear a funny friday the 13th story. someone yoda works with was in the toilet and the sprinkler in the bathroom went off….. heehee…….he got soaked

i just looked at my calendar and remembered that i have MANSON tickets woohoo. he will be at merriweather on the 30th. (dances around room with irritated ferret) i have a weird thing for manson. he’s not the top of the list of celebrities i’d fuck but he’s definitly in the top 10 baby! (i am sure that bjb is dry heaving as she reads this)
