not air conditioning but a trip to atlantic city with my peeps. woohoo! the bus ride can be a little trying on the butt but if you can keep it from going to sleep, avoid a leg cramp and bring a good book, you’ll be there in no time. i spent a fair amount of time in front of my favorite slot machine, the hex breaker penny machine. yes i know its probably sad that i have a favorite slot machine but its fun, has entertaining bonus games, i get lots of credits for my money and i usually come out ahead when i play it. (always a bonus when in atlantic city) i did manage to come back with more money then i went with. i didn’t hit any jackpots but i didn’t come back with an empty purse either. the ride back was equally entertaining even if i did wonder several times what yoda could be putting in my hood.

bonanza jellybean came over this evening to get some cds. so i picked up some beers and made some dinner. (which i hope wasn’t too shitty) we also looked at some of my funny scrapbook pages.
then we played some wii bowling (first game tie, second game i won), then some wii tennis (i won), then i got my ass handed to me at wii boxing. my arm is still sore. then we played some guitar hero on the ps2. well i played anyway (it takes some practice to get the hang of it)

i think we had fun and will have to do it again!

if you have every tried to borrow a cd from me, you can understand the significance of this. i have gone through all my cds and put them all back in the correct boxes. GASP. yes all of them, including the ones in the car, in the boys room, the pile on the stereo, the stack up next to my computer and even the ones i found under the bed (that pepi had hidden). i know…. very scary… bjb will be happy though since she has wanted to come raid my collection for some time but i kept putting it off cause i knew we wouldn’t be able to find anything. now everything is where it should be… well at least for a few days anyway

in connection with this adventure, i also went through all my videos games and cleaned out the unused gamecube, wii, ps2, xbox and DS games. then promptly went to trade them in and get new games. and in case you were wondering, with the exception of hello kitty rollar rescue and wii bowling, i generally suck at video games. but i enjoy them none the less. i have even been known to have people come over and unlock games so i can play them (like car racing games) or get people drunk so i stand a better chance.

went out tonight with yoda, rabble and king dork for wii bowling, food with beverages and a movie.  we went to see grindhouse and it was fuckin awesome.  so b movie, so bloody, so funny, so smash up car chase, so kick ass! had a great time hangin with everyone and enjoyed a great movie.  i had such a fun time i might just have to go see it in the theater again.  i’ll have to add this to my list of fav movies and can’t wait for it to come out on dvd. robert and quentin did a great job.

not feeling as shitty today, still have a runny nose but i don’t feel like my head is going to explode from pressure. also my coughing has died down.  but i continue to wake up at 3 am and not being able to get back to sleep till 5am.  luckily its saturday so i didn’t have to worry about being late for work. w00t

so its a sunday and i’ve been up for quite a while….which i know is scary but i have homework to get done and little time to do it… plus after partaking of my usual ‘easter traditions’ i might not be in the right mindset to actually concentrate on anything. now i know you are wonder what will i be doing? well, i’m bringing the beer and vodka. my dad is making the bloody mary’s. (enough said) there will also be the customary coloring of hard boiled eggs, eating of too much food and i’m sure my mother, brother and sister in law will regale us with tales that will make my brain hurt.

on a totally different note:
the new nin album is not out until apirl 17th BUT as i was looking at the nin site this morning i found you can listen to the entire album now for free!!!!

so today has been one of those days where you can’t decide if its been good or bad…. so i guess i’ll have to compare…..
plus- got up and to work on time; minus- it made today really really long
plus- found a clean bra to wear; minus- its clean cause its the one that stabs me in the side all freakin day (adjusts bra again)
plus- left early and was on time for my workout; minus- it took me an fuckin hour to get home
plus- got to ask a question at work to someone i don’t like and it annoyed them; minus- they send me 6 even more annoying emails afterwards
plus- remember to go to the store for food; minus- forgot to get cash while i was there
plus- cleaned the boys litter box; minus- got poo on my hand (ick)
plus- ate tasty dinner; minus- have heart burn from it
plus- played with the boys; minus- got bit by giggle wiggle (cause he’s brat)
plus- had some natty’s; minus- natty’s are all gone now (gasp)
plus- i remembered to post, check email and site; minus- the damn wireless keeps dropping and pissing me the f off

after adding up all those, i’ll say today has been neutral/minus on the crappy scale. not bad but not great either!  but it could have been worse….. (is it friday yet?)
